About Me

My Story

Hello! My name is Dennis Brady. I love Jesus, Sandra, my wife of three decades, our children, my family, a few friends, and my lazy mutt, Toby – in that order.

A couple of years ago, I began to feel it. If you’ve hit midlife, I know you feel it, too. A quiet desperation settles in as our hair thins and waistlines expand. Are our best days behind us, pulling us under the steady rolling wheels of time? Is a crisis the only way to get through midlife?

No!

Let’s kick midlife in the teeth and emulate Caleb of the Bible, who said at 85 years old (midlife for him),

I am still as strong today as I was in the day that Moses sent me; my strength now is as my strength was then, for war and for going and coming.

Joshua 14:11

Get Out of Your Midlife Crisis

Caleb didn’t suffer a midlife crisis, and faithful Christians who grow stronger in mind, body, and spirit won’t either. We don’t live for ourselves. Our decisions impact our family and future generations.

StrongerDowntheStretch.com will be like the volunteers cheering on marathon runners and handing them water. We’ll provide materials to help strengthen your mind, body, and spirit and encourage you to finish the race strong.

Let’s grow stronger down the stretch, wage war against midlife, and hear our Father say, “Well done, good and faithful servant!”

Yet the righteous holds to his way, and he who has clean hands grows stronger and stronger.

Job 17:9

Please say hi to Sanj!

I’d like to introduce you to my wife, Sandra. She’s the smart one in this marital unit and will be contributing many articles on healthy living and her favorite topics, Israel, Jesus and His return. Sandra has spent the last 26 years homeschooling our three children – there was a seven year gap between our second and third child.
In addition to teaching our children wonderful things, Sandra has enjoyed this time digging deep into her own studies. She’s a curious and avid learner and will now share her discoveries with you.
